The backset is 2 3/4" from edge of door to the center line of the device and strike. The preparation for the WS98/99 strike must be specified when placing order for the frame.
This product is obsolete and no longer available.  At one time a 1 3/4" backset for the old B100/B400/B500 deadbolts was available.
The backset is the same for the 6300 surface mounted electric strike as it is when using the 299 strike.  There should be 3/16" from the face of the device and the face of the strike.
